2007 Dodge Caliber SRT-4
|For 2007 models, the Dodge Caliber will take the place of the Neon. The SRT-4 Neon's were no slouch, and as a result the 2007 Dodge Caliber has a high bar to hurdle. Dodge seems confident that the new Caliber will appeal to Neon fans.|
|Lucky for Dodge - the Neon wasn't much for eye candy. The SRT-4 was however, a runner. Not only do the old SRT-4 Neons get up and go, they are affordable, and a good start for someone who wants to easily add more horsepower on down the road with bolt on modifications.|
Alas, all things come to an end - the Neon included. In its absense we will have to make due with the new 2007 Dodge Caliber. It's a bit large to appeal to me, but if you are not offended by crossover models you might like it.
Here are a few things that might pique your interest about the 2007 Dodge Caliber SRT-4. First and foremost, it's playing with over 230 horsepower provided by its 2.4L turbocharged engine... respectable.
Secondly, the 2007 Caliber SRT-4 is rumored to have electronic all-wheel-drive. The electronic AWD system only engages if tire slippage is detected. This way, the fuel economy is not affected unless it needs to be.
Lastly - The 2007 Dodge Caliber SRT-4 is projected to sell in the low $20K range. Perfect for "ballin' on a budget".
