2008 Acura NSX AWD V10 Super Car

Sadly, production of Acura's NSX in its current form will cease this year. This isn't the end of the road for the Acura NSX exotic car though, as Honda has made mention of a next generation NSX that will blow your wig back.

Below is a concept picture of what the 2008 NSX replacement will most likely resemble.

Honda president Takeo Fukui mentioned that they would like to use their SH-AWD technology in the next generation Honda/Acura NSX. SH-AWD simply means: Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive. On top of having all wheel drive, which makes for a very dominant street car, the next gen. NSX may also end up with a V10 engine. That's right people - a V10 motor in a Honda.

The SH-AWD technology is fantastic for high performance vehicles. The technology was first used on Acura's RL model. It worked so well, that they have decided to apply the technology to some of their more high-performance vehicles. SH-AWD is capable applying a greater percentage of overall torque to the rear wheels in aggressive driving situations. This would have to be a major player in a V10 engine application. Anything Honda puts out will have an aftermarket following - clear the roads folks, this things going to be a beast.
